Deep Space Message Platform

HUMANS

Powerhouse Museum × MIT · International Astronautical Congress 2025

As sole engineer, designed and built the public-facing platform behind HUMANS — a collaboration between Powerhouse Museum and MIT's nanotechnology laboratory. The platform collected thousands of recorded human messages for transmission to deep space via Lunar Outpost and Intuitive Machines, scheduled for 2027.

Presented at the 76th International Astronautical Congress — the world's foremost astronautics forum, attracting over 4,500 delegates from 50+ countries — held in Sydney, October 2025.

65-Metre LED Facade

Hong Kong · International Audience

As part of the Powerhouse digital team, worked on the landmark collaboration between Powerhouse Museum and M+, Hong Kong's museum of contemporary visual culture and one of the largest modern art institutions in the world. Applied advanced 3D scanning to build high-fidelity digital twins of Australian collection objects, presented across a 65-metre LED facade.

Architects and maintains the Powerhouse Collections platform: Australia's national cultural collection made publicly accessible to researchers, educators, and the public worldwide. The platform gives global access to more than 500,000 objects, and the museum's public platforms served over 100 million API requests in the past year.

$1.4 Billion Precinct

Parramatta

Powerhouse · Sole Engineer

Data and integration architect for the $1.4 billion Powerhouse Parramatta precinct — the largest investment in Australian cultural infrastructure since the Sydney Opera House. Defined the enterprise data and integration layer across ticketing (Tessitura), CRM (Prospect2), venue operations (Momentus Elite), collections (EMu/Axiell), and CMS (Sanity), with Workato and Next.js bridging the stack across all Powerhouse precincts including Ultimo, Castle Hill, Sydney Observatory, Sydney Science Festival, and Sydney Design Week.

Opening Exhibition Interactive

Powerhouse × OMA / AMO

Powerhouse Parramatta · Opening Late 2026

Project lead on the digital interactive and its underlying architectural database for the exhibition Powerhouse Parramatta is creating with OMA/AMO, one of the world's most internationally recognised architecture and research practices, founded by Rem Koolhaas. Led by OMA's Managing Partner David Gianotten, the exhibition surveys the evolution and cultural significance of the shopping mall, and is one of the museum's foundational opening exhibitions, opening late 2026.
