The Problem With Physical Tickets

They get lost. They can't be updated. They offer no visibility to the team managing access on the floor. The Digital Ticket project replaced that friction with a device-native experience — built on Tessitura, designed to scale to millions.

The Platform

Digital tickets are delivered directly to visitor mobile wallets — Apple Wallet and Google Wallet — with live update capability and fine-grained access controls available to the Powerhouse ticketing and operations team. The backend is fully integrated with Tessitura, ensuring every ticket reflects real-time reservation state. The infrastructure was architected to hold at scale without degradation.

The Build

Delivery required cross-functional coordination across ticketing operations, front-of-house, marketing, and engineering. Security and performance reviews preceded any public rollout. Edge cases, high-concurrency scenarios, and operational failure modes were addressed in testing before a single visitor scanned in.
